Chapter4, Castle

Teddy, Jack, and Annie opened the gate that not closed, passed the gatehouse, and came into the castle.

They passed the stables, kitchen.

There were no signs of life anywhere.

They made a plan to go to a tower rising above the courtyard and if they saw anything that's not orderly, they will tidy it up.

They climbed up a twisting stairway and came to the first landing.

There was the armor room.

They moved to the third floor.

There the great hall and they came into the room.

The table and floor in the room were so messy.

They all started to clean, Jack swept, Annie cleaned the table, and Teddy scraped the wax.

Suddenly Annie screamed.

A large white bone hovered in the air in front of the hearth began floating straight toward them!

 

 

Chapter5, Ghosts!

They all surprised and scrambled up the stairs and on the next landing, charged into a nearby room.

It looked like a nursery.

There was a child-sized spinning wheel in the corner and it was spinning by itself.

A large wooden chessboard was near the spinning wheel. The chess pieces slide slowly alone.

Teddy surprised and open the door. The white bone was hanging in the air. He shut the door.

They all tried to thinking a rhyme.

Annie recited that the old Maggie said, and explained.

Where is the girl who spins wool into thread? The girl was spinning at that wheel.

Where are the boys who play chess before bed? They were at the chess table.

Where is the hound who waits to be fed? It was a dog.

They were all here and just invisible!

 

 

Chapter6, Merlin's Diamond

They who the girl spinning a wheel, the boys at the chess table, and the hound with his bone in his mouth were here and just invisible.

Annie wanted to help them so she asked the invisible girl what happened to them.

An invisible finger wrote on the mirror.

DIAMOND OF DESTINY STOLEN

The castle was a secret place to guard for the diamond. It was kept secret.

The diamond was set in the handle of the very sword King Arthur pulled from the stone many years ago.

It will give the same power to the next king of Camelot.

As long as the family kept the diamond safe, they would have good fortune.

But if they fail to protect it, they would fade from life.

The ghost girl showed them opening a secret door and inside an empty cabinet.

Annie asked the invisible girl, "who stole the diamond."

Appeared letters on the mirror.
