MTH 36-1. The Last Unicorn

The November, Jack sat reading in the living room.
Annie opened the front door and said it was back.
Jack and Annie ran into the tree house with their magic rhymes book and preparing for the cold.
The magic tree house was back and they climbed inside it.
There were a book from Morgan and a paper written letter from M.
The content of the letter was they have to go to New York and save a Unicorn in 1938.
They had only three magic rhymes - pull a cloud from the sky, Find a treasure you must never lose, turn into ducks.
They said the magic spell to go to New York City in 1938.

MTH 36-2. Who Are They?

The tree house arrived in Central Park, and their clothes were changed to warm clothes.
Jack and Annie are reminded of their visit to New York with their aunt Mallory.
They reviewed their mission poem.
"The spell runs out in late Nov. before a blue moon.
He'll wake up when someone calls his name.
Then a young girl must love him and show him the way home."
They climbed down the ladder.
It snowed fast and the wind blew harder.
They trudged through the snow to a pond but there was no one.
Jack found a merry-go-round but there was no rider either.
They tried to get out of the park but they couldn't see anything in the falling snow.
Jack saw a couple walking behind them who looked like teenagers, but they were gone with the snow soon.
Jack and Annie guessed the two teenagers were Teddy and Kathleen.
They thought Teddy and Kathleen were nearby them when they needed to help during the last three missions.

MTH 36-3. Lost in Central Park

Jack and Annie tried to find a way to get out of the park but it was getting harder to see anything because of the heavy snow.
They saw a statue of a huge wolf-like dog named Balto that he carried medicine six hundred miles through a blizzard in Alaska.
Jack lost Annie in the snowstorm.
He was scared about lost her so he used one of the magic rhymes to find her and so Annie appeared right behind him.
They kept going ahead, and found a small castle in the storm.
They went into the castle to ask how to get out of the park.
There was a man named Perkins.
He explained many things.
The name of the castle was Belvedere Castle.
There was a weather instrument inside to check the weather.
The data said the weather was getting worse.
And it'll be the second full moon - a blue moon, this month.
The Bronx Zoo is the best public display place in New York and the number two train of the West Side subway line will get you there.
Jack and Annie headed back out of the castle and went into the blizzard to go to the Bronx Zoo.

MTH 36-4. Hard Times

Jack and Annie trudged through the storm and got out of Central Park.
They headed to the subway, asking people how to get there.
They passed people standing for free soup and people huddled by a small stove.
People looked so poor and desperate because of the Great depressed.
They arrived at the subway, number two.
To Take the subway, they needed 5 cents.
Lucky, there were two nickels in Jack's pocket.
They put their nickels into the slot and pushed through, like a woman in front of them.
Number 2 train came into the platform.
People, Jack and Annie got the train, and Jack and Annie could see Teddy and Kathleen were on the train.
Jack and Annie asked people where they had to get off for the Bronx zoo.
One girl in a tattered shawl let them know the right stop.
Finally, they got off the subway and the train left.

MTH 36-5. The Cloisters

Annie asked the man in the booth how to get to the Bronx Zoo.
But she and Jack got to know that they got out at the wrong stop.
So they took a taxi and headed to the Bronx Zoo.
But this time, the taxi was stuck in the snow and they had to climb out.
Jack felt numb so he thought he got frostbite.
He and Annie found a tower that opened to the public, cloisters of the metropolitan museum.
They came into there.
A museum lady welcomed them, and Jack asked her how to get to the Bronx Zoo.
But she was a talkative person, and only spoke about the museum and tapestry room without answering.
So Jack interrupted her speak and they headed to the tapestry room to escape her because they didn't have much time.
They got out of the cold into the tapestry room.
The room was covered with tapestries with gold and silver.
And Annie found a unicorn in there.

MTH 36-6. The Hant of the Unicorn

There were seven tapestries and there was the Unicon slain by hunters' spears in the last tapestry.
And they called the name of the Unicon to break the spell according to Merlin's poem. It was "Divine flower of Rome".
But there was no change.
Voices of a teenage couple came from outside.
Jack and Annie thought that they were Teddy and Kathleen and they could break the spell.
So Jack and Annie hid to surprise them.
But they were Balor and Grinda who Jack and Annie hadn't known.
Grinda called "Dianthus" in front of the last tapestry, and the Unicon in the tapestry moved.
They tried to take him to the Master and the boy coiled the rope into a noose.
Jack thought he wasn't a good guy.
Jack and Annie bolted in front of them and stopped them.
At that moment, there was a flash of light, and the Unicon stood on the floor of the museum.

MTH 36-7. Dianthus

Balor and Grinda looked frightened and Annie loved the unicorn.
They came from the same magic world the unicorn came from.
Dianthus ran to the garden in the snowy cloister and Jack and Annie followed him.
Balor and Grinda tried to take him and Annie and Jack tried to stop it.
So Jack used the magic rhyme - Call a Cloud from the Sky.
A thick fog instantly filled the cloister.
Jack, Annie, and Dianthus slipped inside the main hall.
The museum lady was really surprised at seeing the unicorn.
Jack opened the door to the street and three came out of the museum.
Snow was harder than ever.
Dianthus leapt up into the storm Jack and Annie on his back.

MTH 36-8.  Back to Life

As the unicorn that carried Jack and Annie trotted through the city, Snow, wind, and storm had died away, the sky was clear, and people were joyful.
Finally, Dianthus stopped at the tree house in Central Park.
But Balor and Grinder were already there.
They tried to take Dianthus with them.
The unicorn did an action as if refusing it.
As they struggled to get the noose over the unicorn's head, Annie shouted the spell - turn into ducks.
And they turned into two small mallard ducks.

MTH 36-9. It's Them!

Annie memorized the duck rhyme a while ago so she could shout it quickly.
The Two mallard ducks flew high into the sky.
Jack and Annie worried about where Dianthus have to be going.
They heard horning of the taxi that they had taken.
The driver jumped out of the car, and the passenger also who told them to get off at the wrong subway stop stepped out.
Jack and Annie recognized they were Teddy and Kathleen.
All four were delighted with each other.
Morgan and Merlin stepped out from the back door of the car also.
Merlin appreciated Jack and Annie for saving Dianthus.
Merlin said the spell that Grinda and Balor had will wear off in a few days.
And also he told Teddy to take the black rope Balor used back to Camelot and destroyed it.
Merlin gave them the Wand of Dianthus because Jack and Annie proved how to use magic wisely.
He requested you have to use it after do your hardest, and for another's good.
And Morgan and Merlin left driving the taxi.

MTH 36-10. The Wand of Dianthus

Jack and Annie thanked Teddy and Kathleen for getting them to the right place at the right time, and the magic rhyme book.
They said goodbye to Teddy, Kathleen, and Dianthus.
Teddy and Kathleen rode on the Dianthus and disappeared with a flash of silver.
Jack and Annie also came back to the Frog Creek woods.
Jack took the Wand of Dianthus and the magic rhyme book with him.
Annie got to know Jack had used the last rhyme - Find a Treasure You Must Never Lose.
And they hurried home for having Dad's hot chocolate.
