Chapter12. The Isle of Avalon

Jack and Annie met Merlin and Merlin explained everything.
Long ago, the Ice Wizard of Winter stole the Sword of Light from the Lady of the Lake.
So Merlin asked them to take the sword on the summer solstice when the powers of the Ice Wizard of Winter are weakest.
The name of the sword was Excalibur.
Meline sent the serpent to Avalon with the sword.
It disappeared beneath the waves of the sea.
And it was time for Jack and Annie to go home.
At that moment, Annie noticed they left their shoes on the beach but it was too late because Jack already spoke the spell.
They arrived at Frog Creek Woods.
Jack realized Merline was the Water Knight by Merlin's good-bye gesture.
They went home barefoot but there were their sneakers in front of the door. 
A seagull screeched overhead.
