Chapter1. Winter Solstice

It was the winter solstice.
Merlin's mission was last summer solstice so Jack and Annie recognized that Merlin would need them.
They headed to the tree house with Jackets, scarves, gloves, and caps.
Surprisingly, Teddy and Kathleen were there.
They were stunned to see a car. Because they thought it was a monster.
They came to the Frog Creek Woods to give a message from Merlin.
   My staff of strength has been stolen.
   On the winter solstice, journey to the Land-Behind-the clouds.
   Travel toward the setting sun and retrieve my staff - or all will be lost.
The Land-Behind-the-clouds was far north of Kathleen's cove.
Teddy and Kathleen decided to join Jack and Annie.
They all go to the Land-Behind-the-Clouds.

 

Chapter2. Land-Behind-the-Clouds.

The tree house arrived on top of a steep snowdrift instead of a tree.
They slid down the steep slope.
There was no looking like anyone living creature but Kathleen could see snow geese, whistling swans, a white hare, and wolves.
They all headed toward the setting sun. It was frozen.
And There was a glimmering palace made from huge blocks of ice on the other side.
Teddy led them into the ice palace.
