MTH 33-6. Disaster

All the conditions pointed to the flood disaster - a high tide tonight, winds from the south, water flowing down from the mountains, and storms out at sea.
Annie thought Neptune's the only one who can help them stop the flood.
She and Jack were reminded of Merlin's letter.
At midnight two guys will tell them the time, and then they should climb to the top of their tower.
Jack and Annie tried to tell people about a flood disaster, but no one paid attention to it.
In the distance, a clock started to chime, and another one began clanging.
Jack was confused about what time it was, and he thought there was hopeless.
At that time, Annie found the two men struck the bell for the twelfth time on a tower.
They ran to the top of the tall tower and arrived at the bell terrace.
And what they have to do the next thing was finding Neptune.
The King of the Jungle will carry you there, Not over land, but hight in the air.
The King of the Jungle was a lion, and the stone statue of a lion stood on the wide ledge.
Annie said, "it's time to use Teddy and Kathleen's magic."

 

MTH 33-7. The King and the Ruler

Jack read loudly the magic rhyme of making a stone come alive.
The stone statue of a lion turned into a living lion with magnificent golden wings.
Jack and Annie asked the lion to carry them to Neptune to help them save Venice from a flood disaster.
They climbed on the lion's back with the book of rhymes.
But as the lion started flying, Jack fell down it into the flooded square below.
While the lion rose through the sky, Jack found the gold weather vane on top of the watchtower.
It looked like an angel, it was the angel of gold.
The lion flew toward the watchtower.
The angel was pointing toward the southeast sea so the lion flew toward the sea.
In the middle of the sea, the lion circled above the water to look for Neptune.
Annie and Jack tried to imagine the Neptune while thought about Tiepolo's painting.
Soon Neptune who was huge appeared above the surface of the water.
Jack and Annie asked him to save Venice from the flood.
He lifted his spear and thrust it down into the waves.
The spear pierced the surface of the water and at last, the sea and sky were calm.
Jack and Annie appreciated him, and he sunk into the sea.

 

MTH 33-8. Home by Day

Jack and Annie went back riding the lion.
When they arrived at the terrace of the clock tower, the lion changed back to the statue.
It was six in the morning, and Merlin's letter said that an angel of gold will show you the way, to the sea by night, and home by day.
It was time to go home.
When they climbed down the bottom, Annie found and kept Teddy and Kathleen's book.
And they met Lorenzo at the waterfront.
He gave them the painting only painted background.
Jack and Annie promised to paint as soon as they got home.
Annie found the same boat that took last night, and the same two people were inside it.
Annie asked the gondolier to take them to the island.
And they took the boat.

 

MTH 33-9. The Painting

The gondolier helped Jack and Annie out of the boat but Jack tripped, pulling the glove off the gondolier's hand.

He wore a blue glass ring.

Jack guessed the two people in the gondola were Teddy and Kathleen.

But the gondola disappeared.

Jack and Annie climbed into the tree house and said the magic spell to go back to the Frog Creek.

They arrived at the Frog Creek Woods with the canvas gave Lorenzo.

They imagined what will paint on it among their experience in Venice.

They also brought Teddy and Kathleen's book of rhymes for safekeeping and went home.
